Dr. Professor Fung Wai Tong, Torin is an artificial intelligence expert, and his graduation thesis is computer vision with over 25 years of experience leading the team, responsible for artificial intelligence as computer vision and natural language processing, automated precision machinery and electronics integration projects; well experiences for project management, R&D, manufacturing, quality control, marketing research and technology-based business management.

Chief Financial Officer Dr Frederick Wong

Frederick Wong has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology and over 22 years in the financial industry, which has led to his current focus on Financial Technology. He was one of the first programmers in Web HTML 1.0 in Hong Kong, and also worked as a Web platform developer and Campus Information Network support staff at the Chinese University.

In addition to his work in the industry, he is also a chief subject lecturer in Bachelor Degree Management Information System, IT management, Certificate Course in Internet Business, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing. He is a sought-after speaker on topics such as Fintech, Blockchain, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and has given talks at the Hong Kong Management Association, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and HKU Space. His latest course subject is Decentralized Economy for HKU Space.

For the past five years, Frederick has been focusing on private equity technology projects that match with required funding, including Angel/PE/VC/Family Office from early stage to growth investment horizon. He is a general partner GP of a local startup fund that uses AI to analyze and find potential pre-unicorn companies.

Previously, Frederick was actively engaged in AI, Blockchain, Cloud, Data, E-commerce, and Fintech. He has been invited as a key founding member in tech-based startup companies, the Blockchain Analyst Association, international educational development in the Greater Bay Area, and local Technology & Industry Association responsible for relevant external affairs, capital market management, and resources matching. Frederick recently set up his AI Business Platform, which has successfully entered a significant Incutech program development by HKSTP.

Frederick is a licensed corporation holder and holds the Responsible Officer role of HK SFC RA Type 1,4,9. As an Executive Director, he is responsible for asset management, portfolio construction, fund management, risk management, and key-line business development. He participates actively in local regulatory, institutional, and authority compliance matters and leads in the New Economies horizon change.

In addition to his other roles, Frederick also acts as an independent director of a US-listed technology company and as a director of a China-based unmanned drugs dispensing system technology company.

Dr. Wong holds a PhD in Management from Empresarial University [Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, also known as UNEM or Business University of Costa Rica, is a private university in the city of San José, Costa Rica and an MBA from Newport University.

Dr. Michael Kwong

Dr. Kwong graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK) and Newport University (US), awarded with BA (Hon), MBA and DBA. He co-authored several books including “Quantum Dialogue”, “A Discourse on Legacy” and “Relationship Marketing”. He was a visiting lecturer for the Executive programme of NFT in HKU SPACE, an independent non-executive director of Citychamp Watch and Jewellery Group Limited (256) listed in HKEX.

He is also a director for several tech startups including InnoAIbator Limited and Leapflash Technology Limited. Dr. Kwong has over 20 years’ experience as a corporate trainer and is currently Chairman of Asia Branding and Franchising Association, an executive council member for the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, a director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Association, a fellow of the International Institute of Management, a Certified Management Consultant and a senior trainer, certified by the Vocational Accreditation Board, State Council, PRC.
